Aside from our flagship mentoring programme, we also provide students with tailored support from our business volunteers by organising
bespoke workshops, career insight visits and supporting
students for their work experience placements.

These opportunities focus on helping our students increase their employability skills to get them career-ready. Other initiatives include:

  • Mock interviews

  • CV workshops

  • Personal statement development

  • Curriculum enrichment

  • Networking and communication

  • Financial literacy workshops

  • Work experience preparation

Our flexibility in this area means we regularly develop exciting bespoke opportunities in line with our schools’ strategic priorities and in line with our business partners’ capacities.

If your school or company is interested in any of the offers listed above or you would like more information, please email maria.tonchievici@thebigalliance.org.uk

The Macquarie Group Foundation is proud to have been a founding member and continuous supporter of the BIG Alliance. Our Foundation’s focus is to support the communities in which we live and operate, and fund organisations with a focus on promoting social mobility for young people, particularly through education and employment.

Since partnering with the BIG Alliance’s Mentoring Works programme in 2013, we have had just under 400 of our staff volunteer their time to help support students prepare for the world of work and gain a head start in their future careers through the mentoring programme or other education workshops.
