Businesses for Islington Giving Alliance (BIG Alliance) was set up in June 2012 by Islington Giving, Macquarie Group and the East London Business Alliance (ELBA) to strengthen links between businesses and community organisations and educational institutions across Islington.

ELBA's expert understanding of corporate community investment and its tried and tested community programmes, married with Islington Giving’s knowledge of Islington, has made it possible to establish a robust infrastructure for businesses to get involved in doing good.

Our strategy is also co-created with key local stakeholders including Islington Council and the City of London Corporation.

Through our local expertise and knowledge we ensure that all of our volunteering programmes address the most pressing needs in the borough. We make corporate community investment easier, effective and rewarding for business members.
