Islington Giving Art Auction - Place your bids until 9th December
Earlier this year Islington Giving commissioned a group of artists with special educational needs, working with Artbox London, to create art inspired by their experience of living in Islington. The result is 21 fantastic works of art which are a real symbol of getting through tough times in this borough. All pieces were created in Artbox studios during the challenging period between April and October. The frames were kindly donated by a local business Darbyshire.
These pieces are now being auctioned online and, after the artist’s fee, the proceeds will be divided between Islington Giving working on local poverty and inequality and Artbox London, working with artists with special needs.

The auction is open for four weeks from 9th November. Please share this through your networks, friends and family. We hope to raise as much as possible to support the essential work happening in the borough over this incredibly challenging time. Money raised for Islington Giving will go out to groups supporting isolated people, those struggling with their mental health, and families and young people affected by the crisis. Money raised for Artbox London will go towards ensuring the service they provide for their artists can continue and grow.
Winning local bids (within Islington or the surrounding boroughs), will be delivered free and direct, or they can be picked up from Artbox London studios with prior arrangement. Winning bids from further afield will incur an additional delivery cost.
